I just happened across this site and found the various comments interesting. I have eaten there more than once and just like any place it has its quiet days and it has it's busy days. I have never encountered unfriendly service and the food is satisfactory for the type of restaurant we are talking about. If you want spectacular food may I suggest saving up and making some reservations downtown at the Royal York. As far as the server named Erica I am sure I know who you are talking about as she has been there for awhile now and is one of Denny's best waitresses. She is friendly, and always has a smile to brighten your day. If you are too sick to wait for a meal to arrive maybe you should stay home and have someone serve you in bed.
